Hi all,

My brother had one of these installed in his Experimental Light Sport Tecnam. Very nice and was reasonable. Since the Maule is on the AML I'm contemplating installing the HDX in my M5. The only negative is their autopilot is not yet approved for the Maule and that could be a long wait.

Has anyone by chance installed one of these in their Maule?

Thanks,

Gary

I installed a D-10 a while back. Still like it and it works well. I am also awaiting the STC for the autopilot . Wouldn't mind it for the pitot for the AOA either! AS you say, could be a very long wait...

I'm just starting the reassembly of my M4, and am planning to install the Skyview, but using an Aerovonics AV-30 for the backup instead of the D10. This will save some $ and get me AOA without having to buy the Dynon AOA/pitot. I also think it will look better in the left corner of the panel than the square D10.

Autopilot would be nice, but I haven't really had the pleasure of using one, so I won't miss not having one Smile

At this point, I plan to just use the stock heated unit.
