Hi,
I'm looking for a used M7 420 with some special specs :
- gross weight increase on wheels so that we could fly with pilot + 4 heavy passengers + 1H fuel.
- easa certification
we would add ( as the plane is authorized to fly without doors ) a roll up door skydive STC
We fly a small airstrip with trees on one side and cliff on the other (600m long) with our Skydive C182 SMA going only for tandem jumps on week ends .. our plane is now too slow ( 2 times to FL100 an hour with 4 pax on board ) and we need to climb on a 4 times an hour capacity.
C206 soloy are a bit to heavy + we like stol planes -> we are looking about the maule.
I have some questions for you guys :
would it be as good a workhorse as a 182 is ?
what about maintenance issues ? ( 30 take off and landing a day ) ?
is it a good idea or should i look more on C206 soloy ?
M7 420 easa + STC

I just found out MTOW is 3300 lbs and useful load 1120 lbs .. what is perfect for our needs .
Could somebody help me figure out about MTOW climb speed ? time to climb to FL120 ISA ? time to go down quietly from FL120 to ground ?
I was calculating on the informations released by maule a typical takeoff climb at MTOW of 2000fpm and sustained of 1600fpm or so and a time to altitude of nearly 7 to 8 minutes .. that would make a round trip 12 to 15 and would allow our business to keep growing.
i need every bit of feedback i could get on the subject
