Seriously considering a MXT-7 180. Looking for an experienced CFI to show me the quirks of Maule. Also interested in earning commercial and IFR cert asap. Any help appreciated.
I would also like to hear from any local Maule pilots that can share experiences and advise.
Thanks in advance

I'm hoping to be in Tucson for the winter, and would be there around end of Sept, though that's quite a ways out. There's an outfit in Casa Grande area does aerobatic training in a great lakes that I'd recommend if you can't find anyone with Maule experience. Not sure that they will have anyone with Maule experience, but they do know flying well? Actually a transition to the MXT from similar Cessna like a 172 for the 180HP should be relatively painless. The one MXT nose dragger I flew in for awhile was a pretty straightforward and honest airplane....
