They call it job security...
You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both!

As long as people fail to care for their bodies I have job security.

If people fail to care for their planes you have job security.

At least with bodies, both human and Maule, people seem to know if it's broke, you fix it.

With their mental, marital, or interoersonal problems, it's more like "It's broke and I'm really suffering. Oh well . . . Business as usual."

Ahhhhh. How the h@ll am I gonna pay to fix stuff on my Maule with non-paying non-patients like this?!

I thought that was why I felt so comfortable owning a Maule and being here, always was a little unstable, and didn't really want to be fixed. :D

Haha, that was funny, had a weird thing at the AMO this week, 3 of the 5 flying Maules were in the hanger at the same time, one for a ground-loop repair, one for a MPI, and mine for an elevator gap seal.seeing so many Maules in one place brought a smile to my face, like a I'd in a candy store

While cessnas might cluster together, it's a statistical thing for those ubiquitous flying units.

All those big words. Do you still pull back to go up and pull back farther to come down? Perhaps it's the last part that keeps Maule Mechanic busy.

interesting thing I saw on the ground looped Maule.
The pilot managed to tear of both main wheels, usually its only the left side
