Playing with the W & B of my M 235-C, I found the chart only goes to 2300 lbs, but my Gross has been updated to 2,500. Can I just extrapolate ??
W & B has not been a problem so far ! But I am planning on doing some flying camping, and just wanted to make sure I'm in the "box !" Any suggestions? ? ?
Thanks

Your AFM should have been updated with the new W&B when the upgross was done.
Go to mauleairinc.com and you will find the Service Letters and Service Bulletins tab. All the mods are listed in there. Find the SL number for upgrossing the M5 and the updated W&B forms are there. SOrry I don't remember the SL #.
Put the proper forms in your AFM if you are SURE the upgross has been done!.

Here's the link: http://www.mauleairinc.com/service_letters.htm
It is Service Letter 43. Check that your airspeed indicator markings were changed also if you are SURE the upgross was done.
Id try to find it in the logbook if I were you. Some sellers try to advertise the upgross as just a paperwork mod. It's not, as you can see reading the SL. Should be a logbook entry if it's been done.

Stormy, many M5s have been sold represented withe gross weight upgrade but do not have the kit installed, or installed only in one wing (accident or such)
Be sure to check that the doubler plates have actually been fitted.
If so, you should see a paralel row of rivets running for about 8" from root of wing next to the line of rivets that run the length of the front spar. You can see it standing on the tyre or ladder.
