I have put the Sensenich ground adjustable prop on my MX7-160. Here are a couple of video clips explaining the process of installing the prop.

Re: Sensenich ground adjustable prop
On my 160hp the TC allowed to pitch the 72" metal prop from 56" to 52". Mine was set at 52". Two people and full main tanks I would see 1000 to 1400 ft./ min. climb at 4000' DA. The 82" ground adjustable at the 0 pin setting gives slightly better climb performance and a little shorter ground roll. Nothing astounding. Maybe it will give a better delta over the standard 180hp prop. On the plus side it is around 20 lb. lighter. Comes with a new composite spinner assembly that shouldn't crack like the metal ones do. If it does the whole assembly can be replaced for around $850.00. The adjustable pith settings can be an advantage. I am replacing my engine with the 180hp later this year. I would need another prop anyhow. (That's how I explained it to the boss.)
