m5 180c conversion

Has anyone done a m5 180c conversion to a 235....
If so, did you do it yourself/ with a mechanic. Or at a shop...
sugestions?

Different engine mounts, different cowling, different prop, different baffles, different exhaust, different air box. The list goes on. Conventional wisdom over the years has been, sell what you got and buy what you want.

That being said; if you really enjoy projects or this is part of a complete rebuild, it can be done. Look on mauleairinc.com > Support > Mod Kit Index to see if there is an approved mod kit. If so, the task is easier since the mod kit should list all the required mods and component changes. Maule should be able to tell you more about that but they close shop for an extended period during the holidays.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer on the idea, it’s just a very expensive and time consuming route to take.
