New Guy from CA Buying First Maule
Hi everybody!
New to the forum and tw aircraft. I am super excited to be buying my first Maule, which is a '77 M5 210C Linear Rocket. With only a few hours of tw logged I'm sure you can all guess what the insurance man is doing to me.... Oooofff... Fortunately the wife is supportive and willing to transition away from the Cessna trikes and get her tw endorsement as well, so it will be an adventure for the both of us. We are farmers and have a dirt strip picked out nearby which will be fun.
I'm glad to be here and look forward to tapping into the huge pool of knowledge that seems to be available on this forum.
Cheers!

One of the best things about owning a Maule is the folks at the factory.
Duane has been a big help to me ever since I picked mine up on Spence Field.
He helped me pull wings off and load on a trailer for Texas.
Great people. Nothing like them anywhere else in aviation.
Enjoy

Be careful VideoClifford, there are those here with Lunar Rockets and some get a little squirrel occasionally but it seems you will have no difficulties with this one off model (" my first Maule, which is a '77 M5 210C _Linear Rocket_". ). It'll probably track straight for you with that model.
