Stablemate

Post by taildragger »

Admission of guilt. I haven’t been to totally faithful to my 1975 Maule. Picked up a 1982 Mistress. Hatz CB1. Has a Lycoming 0320 150 hp and performs as fantastic as the Maule. Has been a ton of fun now that the weather warmed up. They both fit in the hanger and were the same color so I had to do it! Life is good!

Both fitting in one hangar a bonus especially if there is no steep ramp in front of the door.

Thanks. Both in one hanger was a huge blessing. I did a lot of serious measuring before I committed. Taped lines in the hanger floor and painted lines out front. As long as everything stays on the lines and the prop is turned right on the Maule it all works. I love the Maule and have had it 15 years now. Just wanted something for playing around local and just for giving rides and fun. Just took up an 82 year old Sunday night. My oldest passenger so far. Been so nice over the years seeing how helpful you and others have always been so willing and helpful to us all. Thank you.
