We've got a short break in the bad weather so I did a quick loop around part of the North Cascade Mountains. Visibility was spectacular today!
Here's Mount Baker from our front porch:
Here's the same Mountain from 1,500' above our porch
Here's Glacier Peak and Mount Sloan from near Arlington, WA
Here's 3 Finger Peak South
White Chuck Mountain and I think Chaval Peak
Mount Shuksan and Baker Lake
and Mount Baker itself from up close
It was a good day to be a pilot! The whole flight took less than 2 hours.

Yesterday was awesome.TomD wrote:People have done that but was not a good thingGreat view looks like you could reach out and touch them.
It was a great day. Took bird over for ADS-B install after the home of fog cleared about 10:45 AM and view was spectacular.
I worked 2/3 day and got the Maule up for one last ride before we are snowed in forever.
Many volcanos stood out close and clear in their majestic fresh snow covers against a dark blue cold sky. Beautiful.
Good luck with the ADSB install, Tom!
