Maule tailwheel instruction Southeast Washington
For my next BFR (and clout with you guys...) I'd like to get a tailwheel endorsement, preferably in a Maule.
Does anyone know a CFI/plane combo in my area?

That may work but about 2+ hours away and frequently IFR there. Hoping to find someplace closer. There is an operation in Yakima with a Super Cub and one in Hood River with a 140. Also Cut Creek MT about 4 hours away with a MX7 160.

Tailwheel Instruction?
Hello Doc,
For tailwheel instruction in your area I'd recommend Mr. Doug Gadwa at Interstate Aviation in Pullman, Washington. Doug has a Super Cub that is a better tailwheel trainer than a Maule in my opinion. If you ever get over to Spokane I'd then be happy to let you fly my M-4. Anyway good luck and tell Doug that James recommended him.

Thank you James that looks like it may be the ticket.
I earned my seaplane rating in a Supercub of the same vintage and color scheme, I'd feel at home in that plane in no time.
I'm curious why the Supercub is a better plane to learn in than the Maule?
Also, Spokane is close by, I would LOVE to visit and take you to lunch and get a ride in your M4. I will send you a PM
