Moving the Pilot's seat on MT 7

Post by kanarra »

Has anyone had any experience on moving the pilot's seat back 2" to 3"?
I'm 6' 2" and my knees are constantly playing tag with the yoke. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a little over 6' 1".

I have the thin Oregon seat cushions. This might be a quicker/easier fix for you. I believe Maule* had a solution for a seat extension but Maule*
has issues.

Not sure of when it started, but I think the newer seats have more travel. I believe a quick call to Maule parts may find if there is an approved solution.
If there is a factory answer, I bet it would be cheaper than going the 337 route.
