The only wheel pants I know of were done on an MXT7-180 some years back. He has since died, but the plane is still out there with a new owner. If I can track it down I'll let you know. I believe they were modified Piper or more likely Cessna, because of the leaf gear.
Are you on 6.00x6 tyres, and minimum antennas which are draggy.
If you can find M7 235 N120G, it used to belong to Dept of Fish and Game in Alaska and was fitted with a centre rear 4 point seat belt. I think it has since been sold so is in civi hands now. Maybe the owner could photo the setup for you.

A Need for Speed.........................M4-220C

Thanks Jeremy,
I'm in the middle of annual right now, and yes, I am also swapping out my 8x tires for 6x600's. I expect a couple of knots from that too, and I will put the Maule Spats on if I can't get pants figured out. My antenna's are late model "Beechcraft" type with better aerodynamics. I am not planning any drastic mods (like new cowl). I want to do all the low tech (read "cheap") mods I can to see what I she'll do. (VG's too, even though they'll probabley rob a knot or two).
