Carbon Floorboards

Putting in an order for carbon floorboards, suspect I'll want to put some sort of traction pads around the rudder pedals and cargo area. I'd like to stay away from the sandpaper style grip tape. Anybody have a good recommendation on what to use? Light weight carpet over the top? Or nothing at all? Would love feedback from anyone else who has done it. Pictures appreciated.

I did them a couple years ago. I dont mind the slippery finish except getting in in the winter with snow on my boots. Easy to clean with a towel instead of having to use a vacuum
