I did buy the new struts. My engine is being overhauled so I haven't flown it yet. They look good and are a little bit bigger but lighter. My M4-220 had three normal struts and one sealed strut. I am selling the struts if anyone is interested. The front sealed strut is 475.00 plus shipping the rest can be had for 100.00 plus shipping.

I'd love to but I can buy a lot of av gas for $4000...

Just ordered a set. Did you end up painting your new aluminum struts?

Are you me? My M4-220 had a 3/1 combination with the one sealed strut being a front I bought the AL struts also, but am still putting my plane back together after a frame up rebuild.
