Never Mind, just realized that's Bill Duncan's Super Maule?

Seems to me that the Keller double slotted flaps would basically make the M7 hover.

I keep looking for videos with the modifications to the flaps.

Airframes has double slotted flaps for Maules. They just aren’t legal so they do not sell them. With a few calls and the right amount of money I’m sure one could get their hands on some.

I would hope a tons of people would be. I think we need to get more people buying their mods like the new Aluminum Maule struts to keep them interested in our market. If I wasn’t replacing my engine right now I would love a set of struts.

I've got a set of the new struts on order. My plane had one sealed, and three stock struts. So as part of the rebuild and diet, I figured I'd pull the trigger on them, instead of just buying three sealed struts. I would be interested in the Keller flaps too, but I can wait.

Aren't those cub wings on the Super Maule? They're fabric... I'd sure like to see some outside footage of some takeoffs and landings...

What is the weight savings and cost of the Aluminum struts?

So about $29.00 per ounce of weight savings or $460./lb. I supose thats about the going rate. Honestly, for me, it would be better go to Jenny Craig, but where is the fun in that!

The new struts are also not affected by the AD. Yeah yeah lots of you have sealed struts, but they aren’t as cool either so….
