I have recently received a field approval for a ski tube/extended baggage on an M-6. This one was specifically designed to hold skis, thus the long, narrow shape. This shape also allowed installation without having to reroute cables and pulleys. So simpler installation, but perhaps not as useful for some folks. I did have to move my battery, but Maule was gracious enough to add the M-6 (and others) to a drawing that shows the battery mounted on the left, which made the paperwork for that easy.
I’ve added a few photos, but the reflectivity of the aluminum makes it a bit hard to see what you are looking at. Zooming in helps.
If anyone is interested in doing something similar, let me know and I’ll post up photos of my drawings and the 337.

Nice sheet metal skills!
You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both!

Thanks. It’s a fairly simple box. I’d really like to be able to hammer nice compound curves, but that’s beyond me.
