Garmin G3X
As of December 20, 2019 Garmin lists Maules in its approved model list. Anyone given thought to installing the 10.6" G3X? At first glance it looks like it would fit (barely) in an M5. Any experience or thoughts?

Re: Garmin G3X
I plan to do it sometime soon in my m5-235. Flew a M7 with a 500txi with g5 backup which isn’t much different in size than G3X, they fit just fine.snaproll wrote:As of December 20, 2019 Garmin lists Maules in its approved model list. I’ve gotta gtn 650 on the way and plan to use the remote comm for my comm 2, already have a 335 transponder so I’m going to buy the adsb in remote mounted unit, and also going to go for the Eis system because it’s about the same as putting a JPI 930 in but I’d rather not have another screen in the panel. So when I’m finished it should be G3X, g5, gtn650, 335 transponder, and an audio panel and nothing else in the panel.
