Updating fuel senders M4

Are there any options for updating the fuel senders in an M4. Mine are grossly unreliable at best. They were horrible with my steam gauges and they are just as bad with my JPI900. I would love to get into a modern sender that actually reflects my fuel usage. I assume I can use anything that mates with the JPI which is a lot I believe. But what fits and what would be easy on the paperwork. Otherwise I can send mine in to be rebuilt I guess. Just looking at options first.

I do see that CEIS offers a digital sender that works with the EDM900, but I saw a price in the $750 range each. Guess I need to shop that a bit though. Anyone have prices to rebuild factory sensors at AirParts Lockhaven?

A little less than $200 each. Fast turn around at Lock Haven. Still a PITA to calibrate.

Since I bought my M5 in 1994, the right main fuel gauge reads low.

I was doing some float training with Dave Wiley one day and he asked about the indicator showing close to "E". I explained that meant I had a bit more than 1/4 in that tank.

Dave said, "Oh, "E" means enough."

Amazing what one gets used to.

CIES senders are $435 each according to the quote I got today. Requires sending my EDM900 in for reprogram at $100.

As per email received from Lockhaven in April 2017, the overhaul cost was quoted at $166.50 per unit for the senders on my M-6, with a lead time of 3-5 days.

I ended up buying the CiES senders myself (4 of them - ouch), and am planning on installing them in the next couple of months. Also running an EDM 900 here.
