Damn, that M4 has pretty much the exact paint scheme as my M5.

That cowl would be an owner fabricated or field approval part. I suppose it could just be a log book entry. It really is a beautiful cowl and I would love to see it reproduced. The owner at one point said he would work with me if I could find someone to pull a mold.

This cowl reduces weight significantly as it is not only carbon fiber, but it also eliminates the stock M4 220 intake ducting in favor of a NACA scoop. I’m told it cools better and also adds a few MPH since it gets rid of the flat nose.

Maule doesn't have a mold for the 220 anymore. I came across a virgin, never drilled stock cowl (thanks Pilot!) and sent it to Carbon Concepts so they could pull a mold. So at least there's a mold out there now for a stock 220 cowl, and you can get it in carbon :)

Maule is working on the carbon fiber floorboards. I believe they are from Carbon Concepts. Once they get approved, it'll be a simple logbook signoff.

That sounds great hopefully they will add as many parts as the can. I would like to cut out a few more pounds.

Nice to see new stuff coming from Maule. Thanks for the support guys!
You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both!
