Found these floats listed on Barnstormers yesterday:

When looking on Edo’s site, I only see floats for an M4. Are they suitable for other models? There seems to be a pretty short list of floats out there for us.

Jeremy, I see in the TCDS that these floats are used on some model Maules, but not others. There is an MX-7 and and M-6 assignment, as well as the M-4s. The one thing they have in common is engines over 200hp.
In your opinion, is this a weight vs. performance thing, or perhaps Edo just didn't test them on lower-powered configs?

Chris, I don't have hard facts but believe its a hp thing. I don't think 180hp is really enough for the EDO 2440 floats. Eons ago I did my float rating in Fairbanks in an M5-210 on EDO 2440 and for the simulated altitude(reduced power) takeoff we couldn't get them out of the water so I don't think they would be ideal with 180hp. Aqua 2200, Wipaire 2300, PK 2300 might work but not sure.
