Shoulder harnesses

Post by Sagan »

My M4 is in for recover so I'm taking the opportunity to add shoulder harnesses. Maule seems to be closed or at least not answering calls, messages or emails, so I'm wondering if anyone has or knows of drawings for attaching the shoulder straps.

Thanks in advance.

Don't give up on the factory. Leave a message but call again also.

The parts CD which is a real value will show all of the drawings for your airplane.

Sounds like a cool recover/rebuild. If you haven't found a source for your inertia reels you can order them from Hooker Harness and have them wound with webbing color of your choice.

We're replacing our original belts in our 1990 M-7 with Hooker Harness belts, and changing the buckles to a military style with "absolutely positive" locking since we use it for photo missions and also like to fly with the doors off.

Another advantage that Hooker can offer (& the factory may be able to as well) is to use the shoulder harnesses that can be disconnected from the lap belt instead of the one-piece "automotive style" belts originally installed.
