Garmin avionics installers

Post by Stinger »

I'm seriously looking at updating the avionics in my MX7.
Removing:
EG1 Mixture-Mizer
Sigmatek DG
King ADF Indicator
PS Engineering PM1000 II intercom
King KR85 ADF
Apollo GX55 GPS
Bendix/King KT76A Transponder
Hodgepodge Nav switches

Adding:
Garmin G5 DG/HSI
Garmin GMA345 Audio panel
Garmin GTN650
Garmin GTX345 Transponder

Most likely holding off until next year on the transponder change in an attempt to save some money.

Anyone know of any good installers/dealer recommendations? Bonus points if it's somewhere within easy range of OKC....Wichita, Tulsa, Fort Smith, DFW, etc.

A little bit of a haul but TXGyro out of KFWS did a great job on mine. They are very quick and competitive on price. Also did a completely new wiring harness

Do you have any before and after pictures of the work they did?

That's a setup that you will be very happy with.
