Maule M4 / M7 Wings?
Have a customer converting M4 to 180HP Lycoming and needs wings. I have set of early M7 wings which look like they'd fit with mods to flap system (torque tube) on M4? Anyone out there ever seen this combination as it's not posted as mod on Maule Air's site? Am curious if it's been done, handling qualities, performance, etc? Appears to me that the new Maule M4-180V has the later wings, but not sure if fuselage / tail are same dimensionally as original... Enough rudder authority, vert stab, elevator surfaces, etc, etc??? Maule suggested contacting Maule Mods, but Johan suggests not enough tail, too short coupled for this mod?

I would listen to Johan, THIS IS ALL HE DOES. He eats sleeps and drinks modified Maules.

The new M4 has the Torque tube system but only has the 30' wing..
