What is the upgross kit worth?

Post by Av8rPaul »

I'm airplane shopping and found a plane that was just painted and recovered, but no upgross kit installed. To me it would have been a no brainer to install at that time. I'd like to know what the dollar value of the kit is, parts and labor. Any info is appreciated. Thank you!

Jeremy is pretty close, probably near $4,000 parts and labor to have done at a shop...

Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.

I did try search but apparently didn't ask the right way. I did see a thread on approximate install times, but I didn't know if the parts were $1000 or $10,000.

Thank you. I'm surprised someone wouldn't install it when the plane was torn apart.
