Has anyone with a Franklin 180 powered M4 had any success getting a field approval to upgrade their prop to the McCauley 2A34C201 prop?
Anybody try switching governor to the McCauley 290D2 or a PCU-5000 (if that even fits)?
I am looking for a 337 showing a C201 on a Franklin 180. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've never seen the 180 Franklin on an M4, so assume the engine will need some kind of field approval as well? If that's the case, I'd just throw the prop on engine paperwork for approval, but depending on where you're at, that could be problematic. Some FSDO's / ACO's around country pretty hard to deal with! The PCU5000 is PMA'd replacement for most of governors out there, so no paperwork should be required on that other then logbook entry.

the NY Times best seller list but I think you could sell a few copies here.
