I did the McCauley 1A200DFA 82" X 44" fixed pitch on my 180HP C4F and there is no RPM Restriction in any range, nor any other range per TCDS's for prop. Most of the older props with the O-360 do have RPM restriction because of large mass of engine internals with a solid crank, ie, no vib damper system. Occasionally while flying I'll hit an area around 1800 RPM where a harmonic will set up and vibrate, but have found just a small touch of power either direction, gets rid of it instantly.

Hi Jim,

Seems only the C1F has the tac 'pie' restrictions on the Maule, not the C4F (which you have).
