If you follow the link on the bottom of that page, the one that says TSO PMA, there is a very good article from Avweb. He describes exactly what we are dealing with trying to get the LED's approved.

Thanks Duane. I did follow the link and it does make for interesting reading. Seems counterintuitive to NOT allow the LEDS considering the improvements they offer.

Both my incandescent bulbs have blown...

I might know some one who uses RIGID R+ PAR36 LED Landing Lights, one in each wing and would never go back to quartz.

I have the Rigid PAR36 lights in each wing myself. Fully approved by 337. I get comments all the time on how bright they are.
