Well it is finally done!! AK Bushwheels Maule HD replacement gear for Oleo Gear models, M4-M7

Price $2300.00
Wieght 9.7# (+.5# over stock Gear)

What is included in kit
1) Two Gear legs (left and right)
2) Two brake Lines and fittings
3) HD Stress bolt kit (All NAS Hardware)

I will try to update with more info as it becomes ready. We should be ready to ship by 12-6-07

They are stock height, Extended gear is still in prosess.

Here are a couple pictures of our proto type gear that were fitted on a M5. Only difference you will see is the Fuel step is not in place on this set of gear.

A Bunch, just in the last few years I know 8 or 10 alone. Right now I know my gear is bent and the plane only has 800 hrs on it . We wouldn't have built it if it wasn't needed. After 30 years expereice with Maule aircraft there are a few things that we would like to see updated and the gear is one of the main things that in the past could have saved Maule owners time and money from costly repairs.

A good amount of the gear failures have happened not douring the landing phase itself but just taxing to a tie down, the problem is the accumulitive stress that the gear is subjected to and with the fareing on the out side you won't see the bend in the leg 'til after you ground loop and damage has been done.

Bill bought his first New M5 in 1976 and his gear failed on that one as well. :shock: I on the other hand have only been a witness to the carange for about 10 years... :lol:
