Does anyone know what's involved in installing float attach points on an M-4 210c. Also the approximate cost of parts and labor. Thanks
Mike

The float attach brackets should come with the floats you acquire along with the steering cables and pulley mounts etc. The lift rings and ventral fin can be bought from Maule.
Maule also sells the fuselage floatplane reinforcement kit if your plane does not have it fitted. It is made up of a triangular sheet of steel and some sections of U channel to strengthen some tubes to be welded in place, plus a bolt in tube between the forward attach points.
Best to purchase the drawings from Maule first so as to understand the work involved. With enough wet towels and protective material, it can be accomplished without removing fabric. Have an attendant standby with good extinguisher, just in case.
