At the autoparts store or Radioshack there is a cig lighter plug that splits and gives you two sockets on the end of two short wires. The plug will not foul the yoke and you get two powerpoints.

When I put my S-Tech System Thirty in I bought an adapter from Garmin to plug my 496 in separate from the lighter outlet. I located it lower panel left of the yoke. Cost $ 25 maybe $40.00. Here is the deal I still have wires EVERY WHERE
Good Luck
