i used a pair of federal A2500 straight skis on my M5 for a while. they worked fine, and were a lot of fun.
they are on the type certificate.

I’m also looking for a list of stc’d skis. I received this list from maule. Are the items listed here on the type certificate and stc’s?, or just type cert? Having trouble navigating what used skis I can shop for for my m5 235c

I have a set of federal 3000 available for cheap. Wondering if I can use them.

I've been looking into skis for my MX-7-180 and that list looks like what is on the TCDS. (I don't understand why they didn't have any approved skis on the MX-7!) Aero-ski does have straight skis on an STC for Maules, you could email them to double check your model on their AML.

I have some Aero 3000's for sale if anyone is interested. Rigged for extended gear.
You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both!
