Wondering what the conversion situation is in the rest of the world. Locally, meaning SA, you need a type conversion for every one of the Maules. M4 M5. M6. M7 M8
I find it very strange

In the US it is now legal to convert from male to female or vice-versa. Also legal to convert from standard configuration to male-male or female-female.

As airplane owners we are discriminated against and do not share the freedoms others have, perhaps we should file a lawsuit?

Here in Australia surprisingly if you have a tw endorsement you can fly any tw airplane up to 5700GW the limitation is insurance.
I think that there is a pilot resposbility to ensure proficiency on each type.

Well now it all depends on which way youre converting.

In order of preference (strictly my own preferential order):

1. You gotta renounce sin and, to quote the Beatles, "Follow the Son."
2. You gotta renounce both sin and the Son, and convince a rabbi to let you join.
3. You gotta renounce all of the above and make your peace with Pascal's Wager.
4. You gotta renounce the view that it's a form of self-hatred and non-acceptance, take a bunch of hormones, and have your Willy wonka'd.

Brenton, very witty. :D

Spoken like a man who knows the Truth.

First time I've heard the Beatles spoken of as having a Christian undertone, but I suppose they meant soemthing different.

Heh heh, thanks Doc.

If I've taken the Beatles name in vain, why, they're free to take me up on it.
