Cold weather kit for Maule M7 260C

Post by Predator »

I'm looking for advice on a cold weather kit for my Maule M7. It doesn't get any oil temp and not much cylinder head temp at 30 F. That is about 9 months worth of Wyoming weather. Thanks

Many of us just run some duct tape over part of the opening for the oil cooler inlet. I have found that covering about a third to half of it works best with my Washington state winters, down to temperatures between zero and 30 OAT.

In the bottom picture it appears that the jack is putting pressure under the middle of the oleo. Is that correct?
