From helicopter to maule

Post by chris erasmus »

When flying with a mates in the maule, he is a helicopter ppl.
2 hours later he had the addiction and his is bad.
We now need to make a decision on his conversion from helicopter to fixed wing training.
I suggested he start his ab initio training on a c172 while we look for a m7 for him, then he should do his last 15 to 20 hours on the maule.
Any thoughts on this?

Why learn any cessna LAZY habits? There're hard to UNLEARN !!!!
Have him keep flying in yours, he buys the ga$,you get to fly for almost free,
And the hook gets set deeper.

Good point VA, just scared he beats the crap out of my plane in the process of learning, maybe I should find him a maule first. :)
And he can bounce the crap out of his own plane
