A trick My T/W CFI taught me In order to correct runway alignment issues:
On short final get your feet moving on the pedals, literally wag the rudder back and forth with small pedal inputs, continue this thru touchdown and rollout.
Theory is; from the time it takes you to become aware of an alignment problem to the time your brain figures out what's going on and signals your feet what to do you are too late to correct with subtle movement and will tend to over correct.
Wiggling your feet, your brain will make constant little corrections.
Made a huge difference for me...
If you feel like a dork doing it, watch a high time race pilot during ground ops, rudder never stops moving.
