Right rudder

Post by John Ashcroft »

We have an M5235C and I seem to have to hold some right rudder all of the time to keep the ball centred, is this normal? or is there a fix?

All M5-235C owners have over developed right legs.

Pull in a bit of trim with the "T" handle.

If you go here: http://mauleairinc.com/maintenance-manuals/ and pick the model you have, the rigging procedure spelled out.

Cheers,

Tom

the rudder trim is simply a spring hooked to the right rudder pedal. pulling the t handle out just increases spring tension on the pedal. its probably time for a new spring.
