Maule's performances and turbocharger stc for Maules

Does anyone have good experience of Maules 235 at high altitude? I am looking at operating a 4 seater aircraft out of 10.000' elevation airstrips, and would like to know if Maule 235 or 260 can be the right machine. I heard there was a pilot who used to fly a Maule in and out Coyote flats in California. related topic: does anyone knows of STCs for turbocharger on Maules? any suggestion to which company I might refer to to get one for a Maule 235 or 260? I heard there was one with the turbocharger in front of the engine, but then the cowling had to be redesigned. any other ones in a better position, not to change the cowling? please help me find the right solution.
