Finally got my skis on this year. Been too long since ive had this much fun! So much that i couldnt even take time to stop at a good spot and take a pretty picture so here's a lame one at the end of the day. And then we got a ton more snow today!!!!!!

R2800. Been a long time coming. Put extended gear on then had to work with troy at aeroski for some special parts. He said i was the first to put them on the x gear. This was 3 or 4 years ago.

A year’s worth of work:
Strip and paint wings, install VGs, all new baffles, significant re-wire, fabricate new floor panels, LED lights, polish fabric paint, new engine gauges, full re-rig airframe and engine, oil filter, oil cooler baffle, shoulder belts, new exhaust, new ABW wheels and brakes, new tires, door seals… probably lots I’ve forgotten.

She’s flys great and I love her. This winter I’ll do the panel and interior. I’m also considering the long gear and wheel skis.

I went down for the clear view that location offers of the stars. I was skunked both nights on the playa by storms that rolled through. Heavy rain and high winds the first night, and snow on the second.

But, how was the hot spring bathe.?
