I plan to be at the fly-in Friday and Saturday. If you have your own plane I will have some time if anyone needs a Flight Review or an hour of short field landing practice. Send me a PP.

Well it doesn’t look like I’ll make the flyin this year I had to have some minor surgery to fix a plumbing problem. I used up the last of my sick time and only have a month to go to retirement. After October 18 I’ll have a lot more spare time and we’ll see you guys then.

Here's a link to a Google Photos album with some pictures and a video that I took of the Maule Homecoming. Other people can add photos or videos if they wish. I was busy helping with the short takeoff and landing and flour bomb events so I didn't get photos or videos of them myself. I know others did.

Brent said that it was the best attended Homecoming yet. It sure was HOT! We asked if he could have it in early November next time. Spence Field is taken over by the agricultural fair in October.

The food was great and it was fun to meet and talk to other Maule owners. Bob Guhr won the STOL takoff+landing event in the over 200 hp class and Kit Wilkes won for the under 200 hp class. They weren't very far apart in distances though. I think it was Bobby Capozzi who won the flour bomb contest.[/url]
