Is the Grass strip beside the factory/lake mowed and in good condition? Landed on the runway 2 years ago and it's a 10 min taxi over. We have 2 planning on being there Friday/Saturday.

Thanks,

John

The grass strip parallel to the lake is mowed and in excellent condition. We haven't had any rain for about a week so all the grass should be usable for tying down and camping. We prefer using the grass strip mainly for the amusement of the gathered throngs.

Hopefully the winds will be favorable to using the grass for the STOL & Flour Bomb contests this year. Wish we could make it but we have our second funeral in a week and a grandbaby in the hospital (Doing much better, though!)

Y'all all have fun!

Had just booked my trip to go back East when I heard the dates. I could have reversed my trip and made it had I known.

Maybe a bit more advanced notice for those of us multiple thousands of miles away.

Great weekend. Thanks Duane, Brent, Michelle and Ms. Maule.
Just a confirmation that Maules are the greatest planes ever made.
