2018 Lone Star Maule Roundup Llano, TX

It's getting to be that time of year again! The Lone Star Maule group will host their annual gathering at KAQO the first weekend of May. There are several flying destinations planned as well as some 2A expression and R&R.

I will only be half heartedly attending this year. We have a family deal at Canyon of the eagles on Lake Buchanan that weekend. Hopefully we will see some of you at lunch on Friday and maybe some time after that.

Doh! POSTPONED due to weather. Please make plans to join us in two weeks starting Friday 05/18 - 05/20.

Got all the New Mexico bugs off the windshield, wings, and prop; all the turbulence stains off the ceiling, vacuumed up the dog hair, loaded ForeFlight with the waypoints, and will finish packing tomorrow. It got to 97º here today; makes me a slow mover.

I haven’t done anything yet, been swamped at work. Taking Friday off though this year so I should be there pretty early. Have to bail Saturday afternoon/evening though.

Still editing; I only have so much patience for that kind of stuff till I have to walk away. I'm more accustomed to Windows OS commands than Mac (what I'm using these days) so it has been "fun" trying to manipulate the editing process.

Last I heard they were taking input about where to locate the base for the gathering, such as the usual KAQO. Have not heard anything further.
