July 7-9th KAWO. PNW fly in and air show

Post by Christine »

Hello PNW Maule fliers,

The annual KAWO fly-in and Air show is happening again.

Maybe we should bunch up camping/ parking to make a Maule presence more visible.... and meet another if we haven't yet and to gather if we have already.

Who else plans to fly in?

I'll be there. But not flying a Maule (yet). I'll be sure to stop by the Maule camp to say hi.

Weather gods permitting, I plan to pop up from S43 on Saturday.

Has anyone arranged a "Maule corral" yet?

Noah and I will be camping there. We plan on flying up on Thursday after work and coming home on Sunday. Look for the orange M5.

I'll pop in on Saturday too. Looks like spectacular weather this year (hope I didn't just jinx it). I'll be looking for the rest of you. I'm also bringing a relatively new pilot with me. He thinks he wants to buy a Cherokee, I plan to show him there are other, more fun options.

My voltage regulator went Tango Uniform but UPS says they will be delivering the replacement to Tim tomorrow; therefore, I still should be able to make it on Sat. AM.

Is there a gathering place for Maules?

I think I may be there camped for Friday night, leaving Sat after show.
