Launching about 3P after grandson gets out of school.

First time at this event. Do we need to bring anchors, tie down straps, etc. or is there adequate there?

You need tie downs if the park you by the factory. Looks like I'm still baling hay this weekend hoped to have it done but equipment repairs have slowed me down. Plus with my son away at college I'm doing it all my self, the wife tries to help but other than driving the truck it wears her out. I just got back from the Reno Air Races so my leash is pretty short till I get caught up on my chores. You guys have fun maybe next year I'll make it again

I arrived this evening following a Tstorm. Things are a little soggy but should be fine tomorrow.

We'll be in Friday about 5:30-5:45. Camping would be nice but the ladies decided they wanted to camp at the Hampton. I didn't argue this time.

Gary/Kirk,

I just got back from a photo recon in Ashe County for some tanker operations around Phoenix Mountain and Mt Jefferson next week. Saw a yellow/white Maule departing Ashe County airport but have no idea if he was heading to Moultrie.

Great time today. StuporRocket won the take off and landing in the over 200 class. I have to mention that a split tail Bonanza made a respectable showing.. TO in under 400 ft and landings at 460 or so.. not bad.. Only one person we could talk into the under 200 class.. M-4 full of fuel. He had fun tho.
