Any of the NW Maulers planning to be at Bayview this afternoon for food and fellowship? You are probably already on your way, see ya there.

Dang, that would have been nice to know a few days ago. I landed there on Wednesday and its only a 12 minute flight over there for me. Well Happy New Years to everyone all the same.

Skagit was going to be too crowded for me. My wife and dog joined me for a flight to Roche instead. The north wind there created quite a rough approach as it rotored off the trees adjacent to the runway. Still, a good trip overall and only 3 planned on the ground. Pictures tomorrow.

Here are some shots of the flight to Roche Harbor on NYD:

My only exercise lately - pushing the plane out of the hangar!

I recognize that bed looks the same as mine. Of course I have to share with the dog and he steals the covers. The hanger is a step up from the doghouse though. ;-)

Yep, familiar bed but I do envy concrete floor.

By the way, the AWOS at Friday Harbor was reporting a density altitude of -1,800' on New year's Day. The plane was really performing well with all that dense air!
