I'm tentatively planning the 2nd Annual Clear Creek, Idaho Fly-In on October 3rd. Of course this depends upon the fire and weather situation in October. Anyway we had 13 airplanes last year, and that was a real nice crowd. My airstrip is available but very challenging. The other option is my neighbor’s field just across the road. Last year I marked out the landing area in the field with orange cones.
I will provide a BBQ lunch, and there are limited camping areas along Clear Creek on my property available. Rides on my 435 foot zip-line are popular too. Please RSVP if you’re interested. The designator is 79ID and it’s located about 8 miles SE of Kooskia, Idaho.
