I was there. Forgot my camera! Kudos to Kurt and Chet for representing!
You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both!

Yeah. Looks like some good flying by our boys. Nice job gents.

Sure appeared to be a nice weekend in Valdez. Sunny, warm, and a bit breezy. Sounds like the winds were pretty "shifty" too which may have led to challenging conditions for the STOL event.

Here is a link to the results posted over at SC.org: http://www.supercub.org/forum/showthrea ... on-Results

And a some video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... vT5LMhvogw

Again...good job to the competitors. Next year that C-170 is going DOWN!

thanks jeremy!
we all finished pretty close to each other, as usual.
it was a great weekend, with some great weather. the wind was a little shifty. but the clear sky and sunshine made up for that.

i still got beat by a ce$$n@. how about somebody sponsors me with a set of the longest factory wings complete with double slotted fowler flaps for competition beta testing?????

That was a fabulous video BatMaule!

It was crystal clear and I really liked that you identified the type of aircraft.

I hope to make it there someday.

Thank you VERY much for sharing!

Thank you...thank you...taking a bow...

But....the only credit I can take is cutting and pasting a hyperlink. (Heck...I was/am stuck on the other side of the pond working :( and missed the show this year.) The video was prepared by a SWP.org contributor (Halestorm) and you are right...a very fine job done.
