Pacific Northwest Fly-in
I am considering organizing a Pacific Northwest Fly-in (Medford, Oregon area) this summer 2014. Possible activities include fishing and/or floating the Upper Rogue River, wine tasting and bar-b-que at our home on the river. More details would be forthcoming. Any interest?

Clear Creek Fly-in?
Hello Maule Pilots,
I'm also considering a small Maule fly-in at my airstrip in early October. The problem is its a very difficult airstrip. If a guy feels very comfortable landing at places like Dewey Moore and Simonds this a great place.
The advantage of a private airstrip is shooting, camping, firewood, and a 435 foot zip line. I was thinking of BBQing a pig Hawaiian luau style.
Fuel is available at nearby Grangeville, Idaho. Fly out locations include, Elk City, Dixie Town, Wilson Bar, Salmon Bar, Moose Creek, Fish Lake and others.
Anyway I think as few as five airplanes would be a success. The designator for "Clear Creek International" is 79ID and is located about 8 miles SE of Kooskia, Idaho.

Looks wonderful but I think it may be shorter/higher/more obstructed than my comfort level allows.
There is a 900 foot strip I frequent here, but it's at less than 1,000 feet, smooth, and has very clear approach and departure lines.
