I spoke with Brent to post something other than on FB. The only reason I even have a FB account is to keep up with my annoying family.

Homecoming

The reason for the FB posting is so he can make changes / updates easily all in one place. Much easier to make changes than calling the Webmaster and requesting the changes & updates. So the Facebook Page will most likely be the the KEY place to look for all the details. That being said....here is the most recent Facebook Posting:

WHEN: November 1-3, 2013 (Friday-Sunday)

WHERE: Maule Air, Inc. at Spence Field (KMUL) in Moultrie, GA.

WHO: All Maule owners and any other aircraft that would like to join in the fun. The more the better.

WHAT: Factory tours, fun and educational learning stations, entertaining and interesting guest speakers, plus lots of flying on area grass strips, STOL demonstrations, Food, Fun & Fellowship. BBQ at the Maule Hangar on Saturday night.

COST: No Admission or Airplane Camping Fee. Raffle prizes on Sat. night. If you would like to donate a raffle item, please PM me. It would be greatly appreciated.

FUEL: Fuel will be available onsite or at KMGR, just 6 NM away.

CAMPING: You can camp beside your plane at Maule Air, Inc. so plan on a Friday or Saturday stay.

SHOWERS: There are two shower buildings on the field. Bring your own Towels & Toiletries.

HOTEL ROOMS IN-TOWN FOR OVERNIGHT STAY: There are several hotels in Moultrie, that have blocks of rooms available.

THE HAMPTON INN: (229) 616-7777, is giving a special rate of $80+Tax
A special site to reserve rooms is available at the following link:
http://hamptoninn.hilton.com/en/hp/grou ... .mc_id=POG
Rooms must be booked by October 18th at the Hampton Inn to receive this rate.

THE HOLIDAY INN & SUITES: (229) 890-9900, is giving a special rate of $85+Tax for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
Must be reserved by September 30, 2013

Each hotel has a hot breakfast in the morning. There is a block of 20 rooms available at the special rate, on a first come, first serve basis, at each hotel.

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation will be available to and from Moultrie. Details to follow.

FOOD: There will be a BBQ on Saturday night at the Maule hangar. Moultrie has a wide variety of restaurants and we are also looking into having food vendors available on-site.

WHAT TO DO IN MOULTRIE: There are some great antique shops in Moultrie on our historic downtown square,a Genealogy Library, a Museum of Colquitt County history, an Arts Center, and other area attractions. Check out the Moultrie Chamber Link http://www.moultriechamber.com/, and give them a call.

SATURDAY NIGHT: BBQ in the Hangar with live music.

IMPORTANT: For the campers, bring your own Tie-Downs. There are no tie-downs on the grass. There are plenty on the ramp. (but that's no fun !).

FACTORY TOURS AND OTHER GREAT EVENTS START FRIDAY!

Hey, I don't like the sound of this nickname! Does this mean that my parts order will actually not be shipping out today?

I'm pretty sure he said they would be shipping out today.......
I can't remember if I fired six shots, or only five.....

Quick check on who is planning to be in Mountrie for the Homecoming.

Suz and I are coming from Seattle, so let's not hear a lot of "too far" talk

Weather permitting I'll be there. If it isn't VFR, I'll have to sit this one out. Moultrie is about a 6.5 hour flight from my home base in West Virginia. It's a good thing I like flying because I'll spend more time traveling than on the ground at the factory.

I am planning on flying my M7 to Moultrie on Thursday (Halloween) and back on Sunday. David & Cade Isham will fly their M6 and we are planning on flying together. Others from the DFW area may be going as well.
