My Flight to Moultrie & Back
OK, this was several weeks ago, but it took time to compress 13 hours of flying into a 3.5 minute clip. The Fly-in was on Saturday and Sunday, but things started early on Saturday and that cut me out. Work and lousy weather at my home airport prevented me from flying on Friday, and by the time I flew 576 miles on Saturday I'd missed most of the flying fun. I did make it in time for dinner and story telling around the camp fire that night, That made the trip worthwhile, but I doubt I'll repeat the trip next year unless I can spend as much time on the ground as I do getting there and getting home. I fell short this year. Sigh. Here's my synopsis of the flight down and back:
